It works but I wouldn't buy it again.
A typical bicycle bell works by pressing a button that activates the chime. This style works reliably. However, this bell works a little differently because the button is the chime itself, the user bends it back and then releases it. The gong blows back and strikes the bell. That sounds simple, but is not always effective in practice. When you try to ring the bell, your thumb sometimes gets in the way and prevents the gong from striking the bell. In other cases, you may not be able to bend the chime back far enough for the bell to hit hard enough or not make contact at all. What I'm saying is that it takes a certain amount of concentration to activate the bell effectively.7
The bell works"
I ordered two of these bells for our mountain bikes. A bell has a nice clear sound and works perfectly smoothly. The second bell is much duller and does not sound like 'after'. Externally, however, this shortcoming cannot be remedied. However, due to the low price and a bit of laziness, I will not complain about the second bell.February 19, 2021
The media cannot be loaded. The bell works well is loud enough and was super easy to assemble! Would buy it again if need be.February 9, 2021
She does PING
The bell is ringing…. Doesn't make the bike faster, but it doesn't make it heavier either. The air resistance changes imperceptibly and the extra weight does not hinder climbing. She pings and that's a good thing 😉January 27, 2021
