Hygienic nanocloud technology is called "sponge with fan"
We have been using the humidifier in the bedroom for almost 2 months now. The humidification performance is OK. Every evening I change the remaining water and refill the device. I am a bit disappointed because the promise and execution of the manufacturer Philips do not really go together with this product: The advertising promise is: 'Hygienic humidification with NanoCloud technology emits 99% less bacteria than ultrasonic devices'. The 'hygienic humidification' must take place through these 4 main components of the device which I will describe and comment on in a little more detail here.- The outer housing is also a water tank (4 l) with a sight glass on the front and air slots on the rear of the housing through which the room air to be humidified flows in.

During the whole day it does not reach the humidity of 60% but only 50%
For those who need to humidify the environment with a pellet or wood stove, this is excellent, but contrary to what Philips describes, it does not reach 60% humidity. For the rest, it is a good and handy item because there is no need to continuously refill water in the 4 liter tank. as it should have been for the younger brother.

Fast delivery and works as expected
The product arrived quickly assembled within a few days and met all expectations. Very quiet in silent mode but still delivers enough moisture. The high speed mode sounds quite a lot but also makes a big difference to the humidity.

Absolutely amazing product.. before I had a Chinese echo but this is another planet. Also I found it in a warehouse deal for a very low price so super deal. This model is BIG so if you have space problems, measure well.

Bad smell after a week and filter completely out of mold
Since the humidity in our apartment continues to drop to 28-35%, we have decided to buy a humidifier. This one came on March 31. and was commissioned on the same day. Of course, care was taken to place the filter in water for 30 minutes beforehand. It takes a while but after a few hours the humidity is at a comfortable level. After the first 5-6 days of running the unit almost continuously in different rooms (the 4 liters evaporate in about 22 hours) my study room smelled extremely of stale bad water. This only became clear after a while because I was not there at the time.

Error in product description
Does not comply with what it says in the product description that the humidifier is suitable for rooms up to 44 m². I tried to use it in a room just under 40sqm. Tried it several times. Even though I drove it for several hours on the highest setting, it only gives a marginal or even no measured difference in humidity. I have also tried it in a smaller room and at least there will be a measurable difference so there is no direct malfunction of the device. It just doesn't match what's in the information. Noise level: In the highest setting, the noise level is noticeably not very high, but high enough to be disturbing in a normal living room.
