Too expensive for a button
I was about to send it back as I couldn't get it on the bridge for a few hours. Suddenly today it's connected in a weird way! The functionality is quite limited (ok it's just a button) and for some reason I can't repeatedly turn it ON/OFF just once and then there is a delay of a few seconds before I can turn it ON/OFF again .

Nice compact smart switch easy to use. the first one was DOA unfortunately.
Order 21:56 arrived the next morning 10:36…. That was super fast delivery oO…. the smart button itself was DOA! … Luckily I had a spare 2032 lithium cell in the drawer and the switch works like a dream. Unfortunately the button is completely dead 1 week later. For this reason this rating has dropped from a 5 to 4. Since it is completely useless to require 1 2032 lithium cell every week it is not exactly economical considering the cost! …. Update I received a new button/switch shortly after returning the last prompt which I can now confidently say was a one time issue and I am now back to report that it is working as intended. I also have to respond to no thanks delivery is fantastic no hassle replacement before even returning the faulty one thanks no thanks.

It's great if you know what you're buying and don't expect to launch a rocket ship with it.
I don't get two stars for reasons like: my dog eats it or it can't dim!!! It can dim if I hold it down. And it can turn lights on and off this is what the light switch is supposed to do! I'm shocked it can't turn my toaster on and off but I have to accept it (sarcasm). It's just a bit overpriced other than it's great and does what it's supposed to do.

Finally an official solution for replacing a regular switch? New.
A handy alternative to the dimmer switch especially for simpler rooms or turning off the whole house before going to sleep. Similar to the flic. I decided to try it when the price was back to normal (18 pounds). It feels nice and has a clear 'click'. What appealed to me most, however, was that the square back plate looks ideal to place in the place of a standard UK switch to prevent your smart bulbs from failing on the mains. The original back plate of the dimmer switch is not wide enough. I thought – connect the wires behind it and cover it. Unfortunately, the supplied back plate is too small. It is 76mm square instead of 86mm so it may not cover your back box and/or you may need to repaint the wall where the original switch was.
