Good humidifier with a small minus
A good humidifier is worth its weight in gold, especially in winter. And if you have a small child at home, I recommend it. The part works without any problems and the humidity is about 50% in no time. Use it in the living room during the day. Without 35% – with 49% at night he sees in the bedroom. Without 40% – by 54% Thanks to the sleep mode, the device is barely audible. But the part has two weaknesses. The built-in moisture meter isn't as accurate, but it's not that bad. When the percentage is reached it always switches up and down. We only use it in manual mode so we have no problems with it.

Good but too expensive
The device is great but even the price I paid around Black Friday (€9699) is actually too expensive for a device with a fairly simple build. The HU4814/10 works according to the evaporator principle (unlike devices that can generate an Ultrasound mist and throw all dissolved minerals, especially lime and bacteria, into the air). The humidifying element called 'filter' acts like a candle wick. It stands a few mm to a few cm in the water and is on the one hand so absorbent that the water rises in it and on the other hand it is so air-permeable and large due to its large-pored mesh that the air through which it evaporates evaporates a lot of moisture.

Very good effect and almost silent / even after 4 weeks
After the many negative reviews for the previous model that are based on a lack of basic knowledge, I want to try to correct this. To keep the humidity in a room of 44 cubic meters at 20 degrees Raising Celsius from 30% relative humidity to 50% relative humidity requires almost exactly 152 g of water. In a living room or bedroom, the humidity should be 40 – 60% relative humidity. At 20 degrees Celsius, this would be about 64 g water/cubic meter air at 30% and about 103 g water/cubic meter air at 60%. Depending on the air exchange in the room concerned and the humidity of the supplied air, this amount of water is used time and again to guarantee a consistently high humidity.
